Stripped

Most of us have experienced times of brokenness.

It hurts.

It’s confusing.

It’s hard.

Perhaps you’ve unjustly lost your job. Or been mistreated in a relationship. Perhaps you’ve lost someone close or have experienced a terrible illness. It can happen in many different ways. Whatever it looks like, the loss is hard to take.

It can feel like our dignity, our purpose…our value…has been taken away. It can feel like being stripped of everything that matters, and we usually view it as something to avoid at all costs. Continue reading
