About Greg J Baird

Hi, I’m Greg J Baird.

I have the privilege of serving in several different capacities.

First and foremost, I’m a dad and grandfather to some amazing kids.

Second, I lead an incredible team (based in the US and Kenya) at The Kilgoris Project, a nonprofit committed to educating and caring for children in rural Kenya.

Third, I invest in high capacity leaders to pursue high impact mission. I do this through my companies called Lead Better Today and Mission First Search & Leadership, and by hosting the Mission First Leadership Conference in Colorado (launching Spring, 2024…details coming soon!).

For over 25 years I’ve offered coaching, consulting, speaking and training for the purposes of developing leaders, teams and organizations. I’ve had the privilege of doing this all over the United States and in more than 30 countries around the world. During this time, I’ve also worked in the church, non-profit, enterprise non-profit and business sectors.

I founded a non-profit, as well as three small businesses, and have had the privilege of winning industry awards for leadership, team and culture within the organizations I’ve served.

I’ve spoken at dozens of conferences, contributed to four leadership books and written hundreds of articles on leadership, personal growth, team dynamics, strategic growth, and much more.

My great passion is investing in the growth of individuals and organizations to enable them to fulfill their purpose and maximize their potential. That’s why I joined Maxwell Leadership as a Certified Leadership Coach, Speaker & Trainer, and also became a certified DISC Trainer & Consultant (learn how you can be certified, also, by visiting Lead Better Today HERE).

Finally, I use this site to share some leadership lessons and principles I’ve learned as I’ve wandered through this journey we call life. My hope is that, in sharing these lessons, I’ll be able to help a few others along the way.

What else? After 30 years in San Diego, I moved to Colorado in 2014 and I absolutely love everything the state has to offer. I’m a hiker, biker, reader, traveler and life-long learner.

I’d love to get connected and the best way to do that is on social media. I’d love to see you there!
