Hi, I’m Greg J Baird, and I’m so glad you’re here!

At my core, I’m a follower of Christ, a devoted husband to an incredible woman, and a proud dad and grandfather to some amazing kids that fill my life with joy.

My journey has always been driven by one passion: elevating leaders and empowering teams.

Through Greg J Baird & Co., I’ve dedicated myself to equipping leaders, teams, and organizations to thrive. Whether through speaking, coaching, speaking, fractional leadership or consulting, my goal is to equip mission first leaders with the tools and strategies they need to make a transformative impact. This aligns with my other company, Mission First Leadership, which offers executive search and leadership development for churches and faith-based organizations. 

Over the past 25+ years, I’ve had the privilege of partnering with leaders across the U.S. and more than 35 countries, working with churches, nonprofits, and businesses of all sizes. Along the way, I’ve founded a nonprofit and three small businesses, earning industry accolades for building strong leadership, cohesive teams, and thriving organizational cultures.

I’ve spoken at dozens of conferences, contributed to four leadership books, and authored hundreds of articles on topics like personal growth, team dynamics, strategic development, and leadership principles. As a Maxwell Leadership Certified Coach, Speaker and Consultant, and a Certified DISC Trainer & Consultant, I bring both heart and expertise to everything I do.

Aside from my formal work, I love sharing free articles and resources here on my site, through social media and the weekly newsletter. These insights come from decades of leadership lessons and experiences, and my hope is that they inspire and equip you to reach your full potential while living out your unique purpose.

On a personal note, after 30 years in sunny San Diego, I made the leap to beautiful Colorado in 2014. The mountains, trails, and outdoor adventures fuel my adventurous spirit, though I’ll always be a loyal Padres and Chargers fan at heart!
